  34. It certainly is in Japan and the UK, the two countries I have direct
  35. experience with.  OS/2 3.0 was heavily, if stupidly advertised in the UK
  36. (on the sides of buses running through some of the most down market
  37. areas of Sheffield, for example), and most computer stores had a few
  38. copies.  There has been no advertising for OS/2 4.0 and no stores seem
  39. to be carrying it in stock.  Linux gets more column inches in UK
  40. magazines.

  42. Reading Japanese computer magazines and looking at IBM Japan's
  43. vernacular pages (www.ibm.co.jp) suggests a fade in the retail market
  44. with only half hearted support in the business market.

  46. Germany seems to be about the only vigorous OS/2 market at the
  47. moment....
